Night Wind Sound

A promotional poster for an evening with Nikki Giovanni, who would be reading excerpts from her latest book of poems entitled, "Those Who Ride the Night Winds." The fictional event was to take place at Van Ness Station in SF.

Notes

The central typeform was inspired by Reid Miles' work on various Blue Note record sleeves. The underlying mix of jazz with Giovanni's poetry seemed an appropiate mix to celebrate the themes of imaginative and spiritual freedom. *student work
